A Horrible Attempt At Putting "Art" On The Internets

Funny story behind this drawing, over the last weekend I saw a license plate that I swear at first glance said the person was from “Warlock”, Indiana. In truth I was too quick on the jump and sadly the person was from lame Warrick, Indiana.
I plan on further developing this and inking it with brush pen and possibly throwing it in Photoshop and attempting at coloring it. The color scheme with this character is very simple, yellow and black, but I wanted to mess around a bit with the whole “techno-organic” nature of the character. A bit of a throwback to the “Masta!” Bill Sienkiewicz.
Anyway, again tell some friends or whatever about the blog. I need more followers’ damnit! Please, feel free to leave comments, questions, critiques, and whatevas. Thanks for stopping by, and you stay classy San Diego.

Anyways, enough complaining. For this time out I am posting some quite “wire-frame” exercises I did. Nothing fancy at all. I’m working in ballpoint pen again because I want to have more confident lines and don’t want to rely on that “happy accident”. I also did these as quick as possible because I’m working more on getting the quick form down and want the emotion to come across as opposed to focusing on every single little line that goes into the entire picture. Great artists who utilize this- if you’re interested- are Ashley Wood, Skottie Young and Tommy Lee Edwards.
I’m hoping to have some more finished stuff, I’m actually getting ready to work on an MJ piece, posted on here soon so keep an eye out. Again, any comments, suggestions, criticisms are appreciated. If there’s something you want to see drawn out just for fun drop a comment. So keep an eye out and tell anyone who likes bad art. Keep ‘em swinging.
Well, here I am jumping into the blogosphere. I think I’m at a point where I know too many people with blogs and am feeling left in the dust. So, this is my attempt at putting myself out there and letting people see some of my “art”. I use that term loosely because I’ve never claimed that I am an artist, I just take art classes. I don’t usually like to wax poetic and am not much of a wordsmith, so don’t expect some long diatribes of posts. If I even get 5 regular viewers I’d be happy.
